We added beautiful gas lanterns and accent lighting to this Spanish colonial inspired home at the entryway to create an inviting feel.
Check out this front courtyard retreat at dusk! This Spanish style home boasts an open transition between indoors and outdoors with gaping french doors, intimate seating areas and lush greenery.
The details of this home are so amazing; from the terracotta roof down to the balustrades, everything fits the Mediterranean design! The curved Juliet balcony with lighting effects above the front door is a fan favorite feature. We used three tone brown concrete pavers for the courtyard patio flooring.
The flooring is chiseled travertine in the color noche done in a Versailles pattern. The area rug in the living room is from the Nourison Suf-I-Noor collection and the fireplace is by Isokern. We added faux ficus trees on each side of the stone fireplace that are mounted in sprayed pots to coordinate with the design of the room. The gorgeous chandelier was purchased at Valley Lighting in Scottsdale, AZ – a locally family owned business.
The chandelier over the breakfast table is an antique french piece from Houston, TX. The breakfast room table is also a french antique from Houston, Texas!
The family room features an open concept yet extremely cozy with high wood beamed ceilings, a large fireplace and a beautiful media wall niche. The flooring is travertine tile in the color crema marfil. The doors that open up to the outdoor patio are fully automated by Doors In Motion and the door panels are manufactured by Sierra Pacific. The lighting in the family and kitchen area was purchased at Valley Lighting, Scottsdale, AZ. The beautiful fireplace mantle is made from cantera stone by Architectural Stone Elements, that was finished with a glaze to slightly darken the color. The simple, yet elegant and classic coffee table is a custom iron piece with a beveled glass top cut to size. The rug is an antique Heriz purchased in Houston, TX.
The dining room wall was done through a process of Faux Finish. The color is several layers of color, with a gold/stamped stencil. The table and upholstered chairs are by Fremarc Designs.
The vanities were custom built using hand-distressing, in alder with vessel sinks. They were finished with a neutral color paint and brushed. In the master bathroom, we used Emperador Light marble for the tub and tub deck.
